We just don’t understand why it seems to be so difficult for systems to be put into place to prevent tragedies such as this. How many more people are being put at risk?
Energy Safe Victoria recommend all gas heaters be serviced and carbon monoxide tested at least every two years.
Please put it on your to-do list.
Please make it part of your home maintenance schedule.
Just like you would book your car in for regular servicing, book your heater in too.
It might just save your life.
