We're really comfortable in endorsing the entire range of Thermann hot water units, but we're taking a look here at their 4 Star range of gas storage hot water systems, and why they're so good.
Thermann are right up there leading the 4 star market with recovery rate, first hour capacity and star rating.
Recent improvements have seen the recovery rate increase by 25%. The 135 litre hot water system's recovery rate was 104 litres/hr and it's now 130 litres/hr, while the 170 litre hot water system is now at 146 litres/hr, up from 117 litres/hr.
New burner technology provides the units with a higher input capability, providing more hot water, and the removal of the angled front means the terminal top has been strengthened, doubling the crush strength.
The burner surround construction has also been strengthened, with internal metal casing replacing polystyrene.
