It has a ‘powered flue’, as opposed to an ‘open flue’ which meets the current legislated requirements.
How does a ‘balanced’ or ‘powered’ flue wall furnace work?
The room air is drawn into the unit by the room air fan, located at the top of the unit.
This air is then passed down over the heat exchanger to warm the air, where it then is dispelled into the room. The flue gases from the combustion process are then expelled outside.
This design efficiently provides comfort and warmth, while leaving the air inside your home fresh and healthy.
