Burst pipes & Leak Detection in Geelong
If you don’t have a mysterious geyser in your garden, water bubbling up through cracks in your concrete, or a patch of soggy plaster that seems to be spreading as quickly as nits in grade 2, how do you know if you have a burst pipe?
Often, the first sign is a higher than normal water bill.
You can quickly and simply determine if you have a burst pipe by going out to your water meter and taking a reading. Make sure you don’t use any water at all inside or out (including the toilet) for 1 – 2 hours, and then go back and take another meter reading. If your water meter has moved at all, you have leak.
